the long winter-like evening have come across faster than I would have imagined! It seems like yesterday us having around 35 Celsius degrees here and wearing shorts. That, however, is now a thing of the past; the last week has already been very cold and I am afraid it is not going to get better any soon.
Anyway, I have found myself stuck in real-life trouble once again, which leaves me with very little time for anything (including the development for the sim). But! I am not giving up on it, there is a solution for every problem and once the solution is found, things can get moving again. This, I hope, is going to get better soon. You never know what life will bring to you…
To not only speak about myself and my problems and opinion on recent weather, I also have some news to share. Phil Eakins (you might know him from BVE WorldWide) has allowed me to publish his openBVE Script Editor (also known as IOTE) here on the website. I am glad to be of help with this respective matter, since I am also using the program for developing things and I think it is absolutely great! If you are interested in what IOTE has to offer, please go to Developers -> Unofficial Tools, where the program can be found. Along with the file itself, I have also published Phil’s very own commentary on the program, since I think he is the person most entitled to give you guidance on it. Any questions, feel free to ask. 🙂
I would also like to use this space to say “thank you” to Quork, who seems to be constantly helping with running costs of this website. It is much appreciated in these difficult times and I hope I will be able to pay something back in terms of creating new things for the sim.
